youth initiative

The foundation is designed to partner with school districts and other charitable organizations to identify youth and students that may be affected by their socio-economic backgrounds and are therefore rendered to suffer academically, socially, and culturally.   We seek opportunities to mentor, tutor, inspire, uplift, support and make a positive difference in the lives of young people, especially those who otherwise might not be afforded such possibilities. We will make available academic and athletic scholarship opportunities, life skill courses, field trips, youth athletics, healthy living tutorials and cultural exposure.

senior initiative

The foundation will deposit into the lives of senior citizens and persons living with differing abilities by lending time, talents, charitable contributions and transportation. We will craft programs that empower, encourage, educate, as well as address nutritional short falls and the loneliness that often plague persons characterized by this sector of the population.  We will identify social and faith-based activities that cater to the interests of participants enrolled in Divine Direction Senior Initiative Curriculum. We will also partner with organizations of like vision to support their efforts with assisting senior citizens and persons living with differing abilities. We are proud to have the opportunity to provide
community service and support.

"vision it" football camp

Vision is having a sense of direction. The Earl Cochran "Vision It" Football Camp is designed to give a clear vision to young athletes as they learn the fundamentals of the game of football. Our expectation is that camp participants will experience a development in their overall skills. If they experience improvement in their skills, no matter what their athletic ability may be, they will continue to participate and return to learn more. The camp will train youngsters how to make the sport fun and safe. It will also provide an understanding of the rules, proper procedures and equipment requirements.

Earl believes that once you have a clear understanding, you can make the necessary adjustments that yield positive results. "Minor Adjustments Can Make Major Differences". The camp will provide feedback on how to correct mistakes, supported by positive encouragement. The overall goal of the camp is to raise the level of learning and skills of not only the most talented but the least talented as well.
